Poems and Other Emergencies sits at the intersection of poetry and choreography. The performance questions if it is through language that we find ourselves a body, or through the body that we find language? Embodied voices and voiced bodies weave and echo throughout the space. Where does the word end and her body begin?

The agent is a writing workshop, focusing on a series of scores that I've been developing through a choreographic project called Public Relations (developed with Stefa Govaart and Alice Heyward). The writing scores propose different entrances to describing the body through relation. Attempting to develop a language through touch and sensation.
