This workshop aims to approach the philosophy of Plato through some of its strategic nodes: mathematical reasoning, poetry and dance as theologico-political practices, Socrates as a bizarre charismatic figure, and the relationship between philosophy and esotericism. We will approach each of these topics in turn, through daily sessions of approximately 3 hours, organized around a dialogic exchange between the two speakers, in order to construct a many-faced Plato. This will lead, on the final day of the workshop, to a Symposium (in the Greek manner, inspired by the original Dialogue) in which each participant will be invited to defend their own conception of the relationship between the Good, the True and the Beautiful.
