In this workshop Renato Miskolczi invites participants to take part in his ongoing research to investigate the intersection of Choreography and Architecture. Through arranging deadened volumes in space, architecture choreographs our social interactions. During the workshop, participants will explore different processes to create their own social-, choreographic-, and architectural spaces. Via open-ended tasks, we look beyond the norms of partnering techniques to construct dialogue between different bodies and needs. By replacing the manipulator and manipulated with trigger and interpreter we restore the agency of manipulated. This way, the work emerges from the conversation between the trigger and the interpreter; from the mutual desire to understand each other.
