My presentation will deal primarily with the philosophical sources of Kojève’s reading of Hegel, mainly Heidegger, Marx and Nietzsche and will conclude with a reconsideration of Boris Groys interpretation of Kojève’s philosophical and political work, especially in his essay “Romantic Bureaucracy”.
